Last night 100 BCHS Biomed students were recognized in our annual White Coat ceremony! This ceremony recognizes their hard work this year and dedication to their future careers in the healthcare field. A huge thank you to Dr. Brent Wright for the addressing the students!

As a program, we are thankful for our administration, teachers, and community partners who make this program successful and invest time in our students!

Students in this program have participated in various community service projects, job shadowing experiences, and completed close to 3000 work-based learning hours at their placements.

Extend the celebration with After Prom at Ralphie’s Fun Center, 11:30 PM–2:00 AM. Attendees with a valid prom ticket can enter for chances to win cash and prizes.

Ready to join the dance team? Students in grades 7–12 are invited to a dance clinic on Monday, April 27, 3:30–5:30 PM to learn the tryout routine, followed by tryouts on Tuesday, April 28, 3:30–5:30 PM. For questions please reach out to Tristann Burks at tristann.burks@barren.kyschools.us.

BCHS After Prom Celebration will be held at Ralphie's Fun Center from 11:00 PM - 2:00 AM. Free food and soft drinks plus lots of prizes come join in on the fun. Remember you must attend prom and have your prom ticket for admittance.

We’re excited to offer a fun upcoming park event just for middle and high school students!

Important Details to Know:
- Transportation is NOT provided. Parents/guardians are responsible for dropping - off and picking up students at Mammoth Cave National Park.
- Spots are LIMITED! Only the first 25 students to sign up will be able to attend.
- Registration is first come, first served—once spots are filled, we cannot accept additional students.

This is a wonderful opportunity for students to get outside, connect with friends, and enjoy some time at the park.

Congratulation to Sephora Velcine on being selected as Farmers RECC Washington Youth Tour Recipient. The annual “Government in Action” Youth Tour winners will travel to Frankfort, Kentucky to visit the state capitol in March and will travel to Washington, D.C. Youth Tour in June.
