BCHS students and families, we want to extend an invitation to any veteran to attend our school’s Veterans Day program on November 11, 2025 at 10:00 am. Veterans will be seated on the gym floor and recognized during the program with a reception to follow. At Barren County High School, seven students have earned the prestigious AP Capstone Diploma during the 2024–25 school year. The AP Capstone program helps students develop the critical thinking, research, collaboration, and presentation skills essential for success in college and careers.
“We are incredibly proud of our students who have achieved this level of academic excellence,” said Barren County High School Principal Letitia Hughes. “The AP Capstone program challenges students to think deeply, ask meaningful questions, and communicate their ideas with confidence. Their hard work reflects the dedication of our teachers and the culture of high expectations we strive for every day at BCHS.”
To earn the AP Capstone Diploma, students must score 3 or higher in both AP Seminar and AP Research, as well as on four additional AP Exams of their choice.
